Timeline 1975-1979

  • 1975 – Founding of Ace Electric, Inc.

Timeline 1980-1989

  • 1981 – Founding of Ace Industrial Contractors, Inc.
  • 1983 – Office moved from family farm to Janet Street in Valdosta
  • 1983 – Ace Electric opens location in Columbus, GA/Phenix City AL
  • 1984 – Ace Electric purchases Cambell Electric of Valdosta

Timeline 1990-1999

  • 1990 – Ace Industrial merged into Ace Electric
  • 1992 – Ace implements Total Quality Management initiative
  • 1994 – Ace Electric opens location in Warner Robins, GA
  • 1998 – Ace joins 15 other companies to form Integrated Electrical Services, a national NYSE-traded corporation
  • 1998 – Valdosta office moves from Janet Street to brand new building on Inner Perimeter Road

Timeline 2000-2009

  • 2002 – Ace and Putzel Electric (Macon & Atlanta, GA) merge to form Ace/Putzel Electric
  • 2004 – Ace/Putzel Electric purchased back from IES by Stalvey Family
  • 2005 – Ace/Putzel Electric becomes Ace Electric, Inc.
  • 2007 – Ace opens a location in Greensboro, NC
  • 2008 – Home Office opens on Inner Perimeter Road

Timeline 2010-2019

  • 2010 – Ace Technologies, LLC. broken out as a separate entity
  • 2013 – Ace opens a location in Statesboro, GA
  • 2015 – Ace opens a location in Jackson, TN

Timeline 2020-Today

  • 2022 – Ace forms a Board of Directors with two outside Directors and a Board Consultant
  • 2023 – Ace opens a location in Plain City, OH
  • 2023 -- Ace opens a Workforce Development Center- Ace University
