Board of Directors
Bobby Stalvey
Robert H. Stalvey (Bobby) joined his brother, Tom, as an owner only a few short months after the founding of Ace Electric, Inc. in 1976. He is the President of the corporation and works out of our Home Office in Valdosta. He holds a master’s Electrical License in the state of Georgia and oversees the operations and safety and pre-construction departments of the company. Bobby and his wife, LaDonna, live on the family farm in northeast Lowndes County.
Tom Stalvey
Thomas E. Stalvey (Tom) started Ace Electric, Inc. in 1975 and currently serves as the CEO Emeritus. He holds various professional licenses in several southeastern states and works out of our Home Office in Valdosta. Tom and his wife, Karen, live on the family farm in northeast Lowndes County.
Alan Sielbeck
Alan Sielbeck manages a diverse portfolio of family-owned businesses spanning HVAC service and construction, legal staffing, managed IT services, digital marketing, mobile dental clinics, specialty beverages, HOA property management, real estate leasing, and RV park development/management. He previously co-founded and served as Chairman/CEO of Service Experts, Inc., a NYSE-listed national HVAC consolidator. A Murray State graduate (1974), he worked as a CPA, then spent 14 years as CFO of The Mathews Company. He serves on boards including Ace Electric, Latitude Legal, and ATEX Financial.
Bundy Bundesman
Bundy was Executive Vice President and an Executive Committee member (acting as the Board) at McDevitt & Street Company in Charlotte, NC. Over 13 years, leadership grew revenue from $50M to $1.3B, improved NOP from <1% to 4%, expanded from 2 to 12 offices, increased net worth from ($50K) to $75M, reached ENR #4, reduced turnover from 20% to <1%, and grew business developers from 1 to 30.
Greg Adams
Greg Adams served as the first Chief Operating Officer for the State of Tennessee until February 2019. He joined the governor’s senior team in 2013 after a 37-year career at IBM, where he held senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, operations, quality, and general management, including assignments in Tennessee, Nashville, Tokyo (IBM Japan), New York, and leadership responsibilities across the Americas. Since retiring from state service, he remains active in board, consulting, and advisory work. He holds engineering and management degrees from Princeton and MIT.
Executive Team
Tim Joyce
Tim Joyce brings decades of leadership experience in commercial and industrial organizations, with expertise in safety, team building, and strategic growth. He has led global companies across North America and Europe, including launching U.S. operations for a leading electric vehicle charging manufacturer and improving safety performance by 78% as a Managing Director in the U.K. and Ireland. Outside of work, Tim enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and time with his wife, Michele, and their two sons.
Steve Woodruff
Steve is a graduate of Texas A&M University and brings 30 years of progressive experience in the vertical transportation industry, with a broad background spanning finance, general management, engineering, and project management. Most recently, he served as Regional Business Controller for the Eastern United States at KONE, Inc.
As Chief Financial Officer of Ace Electric, Steve oversees the company’s fiscal functions and those of its subsidiaries, including compliance, financial controls, forecasting and reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and related finance operations. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, he provides strategic leadership to support organizational transformation, maximize financial performance, protect company assets, and allocate capital in alignment with Ace’s purpose, vision, and long-term strategy.
Rob Stalvey
Robert H. Stalvey Jr. (Rob) joined the company in 1992 and currently serves as the President of Corporate Support and works out of our Home Office in Valdosta. In his current role, he is responsible for all the company’s legal matters and leads the corporate departments (Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Training and Marketing) that support the eight Division offices. Rob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Valdosta State University and has held numerous positions (Warehouse Assistant, Electrician’s Helper, Electrician, Estimator, Project Manager, and Service Manager) within the company throughout his career. Rob is a 2003 graduate of Leadership Lowndes and also served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association from 2011-2019, serving as Secretary/Treasurer in 2011-2012, Vice President in 2013-2014 and President in 2015-2016. He holds a Master’s Electrical License in the states of Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Rob and his two daughters, Elizabeth and Rilyn, live on the family farm in northeast Lowndes County with their cat named Ginger.
Tommy Stalvey
Tommy Stalvey is a life long resident of Lowndes County and is the fourth generation to live on the family farm. He has worked his way up the company ladder, starting out as an electrician’s helper. He then worked as an electrician and an Electrical Superintendent before being promoted to his current position.
As Ace Electric’s President of Field Operations, he leads company-wide field execution across multiple divisions—driving safety, quality, schedule, and productivity on every jobsite. He partners with project teams, superintendents, and trade professionals to deliver consistent results, develop strong leaders, and support Ace’s strategic growth.
Mike Kallmeyer
With more than four decades in the electrical contracting industry, Mike brings a deep field foundation, executive-level construction experience, and a long-standing commitment to workforce development. His career includes key leadership roles in both contractor and owner environments. Prior to returning to Ace in 2023, he served with Amazon Web Services as Manager of Construction, America Central in Columbus, supporting complex, high-demand projects. Earlier, from 2015 to 2019, he was part of Ace Electric’s leadership team as Director of Corporate Development and Atlanta Division Manager. He spent 26 years with Denier Electric Co., Inc., progressing from Lead Foreman to Field Project Manager and ultimately Senior Vice President, Construction, leading teams and delivering results across a wide range of electrical construction work.
An active industry contributor, he has been involved with the Independent Electrical Contractors since 1997, serving in numerous leadership positions including National President (2011), and chairing committees spanning workforce development, management education, membership, industry partners, and PAC/PEF. He has also supported apprenticeship training as an instructor and served as a member of the ACI/OSHA Alliance Committee.
Mindy Bates
Mindy Bates brings more than 35 years of human resources experience to Ace Electric, with a strong focus on workforce development, talent acquisition, and employee retention. She leads the company’s people strategy with a steady, practical approach grounded in a genuine belief that taking care of employees builds strong, sustainable teams. Since joining Ace Electric in 2018, Mindy has built and leads a dedicated HR team focused on identifying, hiring, training, and retaining the very best people for Ace. A Valdosta-area local, Mindy values strong relationships, enjoying time with her husband, Merrill and their two sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren.
