Professional Electrician's Program

The Professional Electrician's Program (PEP) is an advanced, fast-paced technical training series for electricians who have been working within the electrical field in a non-helper capacity for a minimum of 5 years. It is designed for electrical workers who know how to perform many aspects of electrical work, but do not have a full understanding of how or why the work is done as it relates to the current National Electrical Code and basic electrical theory. PEP is a two-year training program which leads to certification as a Journeyman Electrician by the U.S. Dept. of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT) if the individual is working for an IEC contractor. It is divided into eight 10-week segments, with progressively more advanced material.
