Our History The History of Ace Electric
Ace Electric, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Thomas E. (Tom) Stalvey, Sr. Tom was later joined in the business by his brother Robert H. (Bobby) in March of 1976. The company began as a small residential and commercial contractor with an emphasis on integrity, quality, and workmanship.
Tom and Bobby have always been driven by a strong work ethic, quickly establishing a “work from ahead, not behind” mentality. Tom took a well-deserved retirement in 2015, and Bobby stepped down from President in 2022 to be Chairman of the Board.
Bobby’s son Robert Jr. (Rob) and Tom’s son, Thomas Jr. (Tommy) are currently active Presidents in the operations of the company, leading a management team that is second-to-none in the industry. To this day, Ace Electric, Inc. is still a family-owned company.
Ace has expanded over the years through acquisitions and the creation of Division Offices. We currently have four Georgia locations (Atlanta, Macon, Statesboro, and Valdosta), a North Carolina location in Sanford, a Tennessee location in Jackson, and an Ohio location in Plain City. Our company Home Office is also located in Valdosta, Georgia.
