AMPED for the Future: Connecting with Educators to Power the Workforce of Tomorrow
On May 8th, Ace Electric's Human Resources team proudly hosted AMPED for the Future: Educator’s Workshop — a day designed to engage, inform, and inspire teachers from all across Georgia. As builders of the future, we know that strong partnerships with educators are essential to strengthening the pipeline of talent entering the skilled trades.
This workshop wasn’t just about information — it was about experiencing the heart of Ace Electric. Educators got a first-hand look at our company’s culture, values, and our ongoing commitment to workforce development. Through presentations and interactive sessions, we introduced them to our AMPED (Apprenticeship, Mentorship, Professional Experience & Development) and Work-Based Learning (WBL) programs — key initiatives aimed at helping students gain real-world experience and explore careers in the electrical industry.
One of the day’s highlights was a hands-on experience at our Ace E&F (Engineering & Fabrication) facility, where participants had the chance to step into the work environment that our apprentices and tradespeople navigate daily. These moments helped bridge the gap between classroom instruction and career application, giving educators new tools to bring back to their students.
The event concluded at Ace University, our in-house training hub, where we hosted a Q&A session with our team. This open conversation allowed teachers to ask questions, share ideas, and understand the opportunities we offer for student success.
At Ace Electric, we’re committed to investing in the people who invest in our future — our educators. We believe events like AMPED for the Future are vital for building stronger connections between industry and education, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated.
Thank you to all the teachers who joined us — your passion, insight, and dedication inspire us. Together, we’re shaping the future of the workforce.
