Through structured training and industry-recognized certifications, Ace University equips employees with the knowledge and credentials needed to perform safely, efficiently, and with confidence in the field.

Safety Certifications

OSHA 10 & OSHA 30

  • Foundational and advanced workplace safety training
  • Hazard recognition and prevention
  • OSHA standards and compliance

NFPA 70E

  • Electrical safety in the workplace
  • Arc flash awareness and protection
  • Safe work practices for energized systems

CPR Certification

  • Emergency response readiness
  • Life-saving techniques and procedures
  • Required for qualified field personnel

Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) Program

  • Evaluation and certification of electrical competency
  • Verification of knowledge, skill, and safe work practices

Required credentials:

  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience
  • Identified and recommended by a Division Manager
  • Submit a completed QEW application with required signatures
  • Complete a Fit for Duty medical exam
  • Have NFPA 70E training within the last 3 years
  • Have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 within the last 3 years
  • Hold a current AHA CPR certification
  • Be LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) certified within the last 3 years
  • Successfully complete the Ace University QEW Skills & Knowledge Evaluation
  • Obtain Executive approval/signature

Ensures employees meet Ace Electric standards for energized work.

Confined Space (Competent Person)

  • Identification of permit-required confined spaces
  • Atmospheric testing, monitoring, and hazard control
  • Entry procedures, roles, and emergency response

Trenching & Excavation (Competent Person)

  • Soil classification and protective systems

  • OSHA excavation standards

RESET (Reinforcing Employee Safety Excellence Training)

  • Ongoing safety refreshers and compliance courses
  • Alignment with Ace Electric safety policies
  • Reinforcement of safe work culture
