Helper to Journeyman Electrician

This pathway is designed to help entry-level employees build the knowledge and skills needed to become qualified journeyman electricians. Participants progress from helper-level fundamentals into Ace Electric’s Apprenticeship Program, where they develop their understanding of electrical theory, tools, materials, blueprint reading, installation methods, safety practices, and the National Electrical Code. Through structured coursework and hands-on experience, employees gain the technical skills and confidence needed to advance into a journeyman electrician role.

Electrician to Foreman

This pathway is designed to help electricians begin building the leadership skills needed to step into a foreman role with confidence. Training focuses on crew responsibility, basic job planning, task execution, reading drawings and specifications, material takeoffs, and resource planning. Participants also learn how to lead small teams, assign daily work, support jobsite productivity, communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members, and reinforce safety through leadership practices such as conducting Job Hazard Analysis.
