The Marine Science Building is an 18,834 square-feet facility mainly consisting of laboratories for biophysics, environmental toxicology, dolphin surveys and fish ecology and other marine-related studies. The property also has a new dock that stretches 1,000 feet into the marsh of the Georgia coast. The dock provides a natural setting that affords the students invaluable hands-on experiences with the marine life. The two-story, 29,970 square feet, state-of-the-art College of Science & Technology Building is located a short distance away on the main campus and contains labs for civil engineering, digital systems and electronics.
